Remember G-Force/ Craig Macdonald

This is for those of you who knew longtime member G-Force / Craig Macdonald. Those who knew him or had the opportunity to hang with him will probably always remember him in some way. Unfortunately he passed away last saturday. I had lost touch with him over the last year or so as many of us did. Unfortunately he also stopped visiting us here as well. As one of the first bunch of members he was always involved in posts of all kinds and was usually a part of the good times we all had at LOTO or on the "Chain O'Lakes " in Illinois which is where he called home. He will be missed by all who knew him and his generosity and humor.:D:D I will always remember him as the tall guy with the mullet who refused to conform. :D Godspeed Craig !!!

Craig and I shared some great times at LOTO a few years back and even shared a condo a couple of times. He was no BS guy, and great to be around. He was his own person and didn't give a chit what the rest of the world thought. He was living proof that you can't judge a book by its cover. You had to fight with him to pick up the check or to even pay your own share of the tab. For a couple years, we used to talk every few months, then his number was disconnected, emails didn't get answered, and he wasn't on OSO anymore. I thought he had just made some big changes in his life and I heard that he moved to California. I had hoped he would give me call sometime or send me a PM. That time never came.

Rest in Peace my freind. You'll be missed:(:(

Great guy, great story, and lived a good life for what I have heard of.

Him being a year younger then me makes you appreciate life, and makes you wonder what would take such a mans life so young

We always tied up with Craig in the cove on Shootout weekend at LOTO. He was usually standing on the bow of his Pachanga. "Let the mullet be your guide" were the words we spoke when we were looking for him to tie up to.

That weekend hasn't been quite the same since he stopped coming a few years ago...

RIP Buddy :(

I am beside myself! Craig and I were good friends for many years and then he just kind of dissapeared (I know I haven't posted in a while but I'm still around and talk to several members frequently). I spent many hours with him and that Pachanga at LOTO. He will truely be missed by me and many people I know. Rest in Peace Craig.

Anybody else remember this photo at LOTO? Craig's Pachanga is moored next to Kevin and Amy's Sea Ray (on their starboard side). Craig was instrumental in putting this together, and as far as I know it still remains the single largest raft off of all OSO members.

jawbreakerkid 05-19-2008 08:56 PM

Wow, I don't really know what to say. I guess I was one of the lucky few that got to meet Craig at LOTO. I always had a great time with him and always thought he was a stand-up kind of guy. RIP big guy.

Mike glad to see you are still around. Of course I remember the pic. I was on the other side of Lutz and it was the first trip to LOTO with the Pantera. The weather sucked, but we still had a great time.
