what VHF channel are you usually on? I'm supposed to get my boat back today (cross my fingers) with the new CAMPER TOP... so even with a light rain, I should be able to go, just don't know the exact time I'll get it...

Hope to see you there but most probably on saturday...

I ended up cruising down to Valcour around 5 in the evening...pulled into Point Au Rouche beach to wait out a storm going through Cumberland Head/Plattsburgh...then we cruised on to Valcour island...hung out with some friends camping on the island for a while then came back to RP around 11 that night...lake was beauitful and it was fun watching the lightning show up in canada on the way home.

If your ever out i'm usually on Channel 6...i'll answer to Slinky...there shouldnt be many other by that name on the water.

better have a smaller boat and run it instead of a bigger always docked because of gas...

I'll go back to smaller boats soon for my daughters to be able to go tubing and skiing! 1 or 2 years max is my prediction!

Go out and deal with what comes. If you wait for the weatherman .... buy a deck of cards and stay home.
