We made it out on sunday and went over to shelbourne.
Had a good time swimming over there and took the family for a wild ride. It was pretty rough out there but the sutphen was blownin through it just fine.
Family members not so much.
LOL
Most had never been on a performance boat and were a bit suprised buy the air we got a few times.
all in all a great time at lake champlain, and I cant wait to come up next year.

If one of you guys will PM me your email I'll send you some pics so you can post them.
Sutphens are such a great boat. We have had three of them and they were all killer boats.
I'll send pics of all three of our rides which were all different sutphen models,
Ocean pacer, super pacer and now a rum runner.
The fit and finish on these boats is so good compared to many others I have seen especially boats made in the same era.
I wish I could have showed it off to more of you guys. I just thought everyone was familliar with sutphens.
They are very popular in NY, NJ, and especially CT.

cool Jpmac, I will send you the pics ASAP
Pics sent.
Slimky I know what you mean. we have been in boating since I was a little kid and I only have been aquainted with a few of the makes. even then they all ran very well so we didnt really mess with them we left them stock or as bought if used.
I have owned nothing but sutphens, My dad had wellcrafts mostly( one bayliner but we wont speak of that), My brother had a sutphen and a fountain.
By the way velocity4me I stand corrected on the fountain. I does only have 1 step in the hull.
He says It ran a best of 82 on GPS not 86 as I stated when we were hanging out, it has stainless marine exhaust and thats all he knows of that was changed but there could have been more that hes not aware of from the other owner.
Doh, I hate mis information
Guess my memory isnt as good as I thought.LOL
I only see the boat every weekend all summer.

Looks like we are leaving the lake the week of Sept 29th for down south. I hope we have a good WE or two before hand.
We'll do the SPOT thing again tracking the trip.
