Had this happen to a friend of mine with a 32-ft diesel pusher motor home. After investing in a locking gas cap, he also had a big sticker made that said "Diesel Fuel" and placed it right next to the waste pump-out. Don't know if anyone's tried to siphon THAT yet....

That is a good idea. I friend of mine found a hose hanging out of his motorhome waste tank flush opening with a gas can still there. There was barf all the way down the street.

I have been considering a locking gas cap for the boat.

They just saw thru the filler hose now. Expensive part to replace on top of having your fuel stolen.

There has already been a large increase in the amount of burn victims reported from this. It's a great Darwin award idea; electric drill in hand, laying on your back so escape is a little slower, and a flammable liquid running down your arm into the drill. Sounds like a smart move to me.....

Anyone stealing gas or other items deserves what they get... burnt, beat the f'up, jail, lights out, etc. I have no sympathy for thieves.
