Default How do I get a custom Avatar?

I see that a couple of people have their own Avatar and was wondering how to do that? I tried to use a picture but it said it was to large? It was a small black and white picture with not that much detail. Can anyone give me any pointer's?

I knew what I wanted and just had to search to find the correct size. There should be a way to minimize your picture.

Adobe PhotoShop works good for re-sizing pics. "image" on the top bar brings up a menu that includes image size. Then you pick the number you want for the size: 450x450, or 64x64, etc, or make sure the biggest number is the maximum size you can use so not to distort the image.

Default MGI Photo Suite works great to!

Just go in click the photo you want, go to the top scale and go to resize . You can make avatar and pics you that want to show.
