Great pictures. Thanks for sharing. I've been to USVI 3 times and BVI once and loved it. Diving in the BVI is incredible.

francis, great pictures. the pics i have so far are not nearly as good. keep em coming if you have more. i went looking for you guys right before we took off but couldn't find you. i had two extra spots open at the start. filled them at the second stop. by the way, we started at about #50 at the second stop and blew past all to be first around steele point. then that damn skater caught us at the sopers hole bouys. truly great time. :cool-smiley-011:

Awesome pics! Maybe I should find a way to ship the Fountain down there in a month rather than taking a sailboat!

Gorgeous boat, David!
Couldn't Branson afford something a bit better???? |
branson-you know it. but, he is a whatever works kind of guy. he has at least ten boats at necker including probably five ribs and a midnight ex cc with diesels. he more about getting there and having fun.
your fountain would be a blast down here. if you want, when you get down here we'll meet up somewhere and take a spin in the tiger-to blow the sailboat dust off. :cool-smiley-011: |

Black 42 Tiger is the bomb.......looks like the boat Aerospeed traded to Shogren a couple years back.
|
Looks like some nice boats out there. How many were in the poker run and were they all local? Nice looking Cigs. Always loved the black/grey Tiger.
By they way, the 46 Rough Rider (American Bad A$$) is on its way down to you guys. |

around 60something boats in poker run. most from bvi but a couple each from both usvi and puerto rico. i also know if at least three cigs in bvi that didn't make it. top gun fatboy blew a transmission seal at start. bvi has only about 24,000 total population. many perf boats per capita. gotta love it. :cool-smiley-011:

I know what poker run is now on next years list.
|
i found out this morning A. B. A. is indeed on the way to Virgin Gorda. fatboy most likely available but owner not around for a short while to find out for sure. will let you know.
hey, you should get down here next time. what a blast. take a few days off and check out the bvi. we always need more bartenders. and deck fluff-female types.:cool-smiley-011: |
The BVI's are a boater's, drinker's and party paradise. We chartered a 50' cruiser for a week and cruised from port to port to "The Bitter End" and back. Lots of sun, fun, great vistas, good food, excellent diving and on the 6th day could not even look at another drink.:cool-smiley-011:
I am ready to go back minus the booze part. |
