The Missus and I are about 3.5 hours from LOTO and I spent two summers working there in the big 80's. I would like to go up for a long weekend this summer and have some concerns.

The questions are:

How far from the Hurricane Deck area to Party Cove?
Is my 25' Magnum enough to get me there?
Has anybody seen the octagonal lighthouse west of Hurricane Deck? (That's my uncle's place - I forget the mile marker, it is XX.5)
Where would you stay for 3 nights, not on a party weekend?

Your 25 will be fine,, won't be running fast but most of the time safe!!! I know the area your staying, We go to horny toads and pass there often. Party cove warming up,, we'll be there several times this summer,,, just need sunshine,,

Huricane deck is around the 33mm or so. The 25 will be fine...just take your time.

What part of Beaver Lake to you boat at? I spend every weekend there.

We go up to LOTO a couple of times a year w/ my 26' Scarab. It handles the water ok.

How far is it from Sedalia, MO to LOTO. I know that my grandma's house is an hour away from LOTO. But, not sure on how far to the Party COve......Anyone?

She also has land on Bronson? is that closer?

Sedalia is about 65 miles from Osage Beach. Just over an hour away and mostly 2 lane highway.

Wildfire, the 25 Magnum will be fine. I've been there 3 times with my 24 Outlaw. Its rough in the main channel, especially between the 25mm and and about the 5mm. Just get up on plane and hit the biggest waves head on. The Hurricane Deck Bridge is about 20 miles from PC by water.
