Black Thunder - are they closed or ????
#1
Friend took this pic a few days ago and sent this:
I guess they aren't making many (if any) boats. There wasn't a single thing in the parking lot or around the building. It looked like a ghost town.
Are they still there - have they moved - closed?
Whats up?

I had heard that they had laid everyone but two people off a couple months ago. The main mechanic and an office person were the only two working if I recall right. Second hand info only, but sorta looks true after seeing the pic Bill

Just called and there was no indication they are closed, said they are still building boats. When they are closed, like on Fri-SUn sometimes, they do roll up the outside. Also, their website has changed to:

Well, let me see, I have a 2006 460EC Black Thunder. Now, General Motors announced that the Hummer line will probably close. I have a 2007 H2. What a day for my toys!!!!!!!!!
