First time out...
I took my boat out for the first time this weekend and had more fun than should be legal. It was so much fun figuring out how to drive the boat. I had a lot of fun playing with the trim tabs and actually feeling what they did to the boat. My last boat was a 1966 Howard 18', flat bottom, V-Drive, with a 426 Hemi in it and it only had a big long plate across the back for trim. I didn't push it too hard because I was spending the majority of the time doing turns and just feeling the boat out in general. However, I think I experienced chine walk for the first time. That was kind of weird. We launched into a river that feeds out to the ocean so I got to play around in the smooth stuff and then played around in the choppy stuff. All of the locals say they like that path because you get a nice fresh water flush on your cruise back. I still hit the entire boat and motor with salt off when I was done. I do have one question though...Is this grin going to be on may face forever now???

Very cool!......when first I got my 29 even as old as it is I amazed how much of a drivers boat the thing was......completly transform the boat with the trim switch and tabs...wow!......really wide operational envelope...... my other two previous boats Liberator and Donzi didnt even compare.
