From the little bit I know.....OSO has fully migrated over to IB last week. They have the forums and the classifieds on one server instead of two separate ones like it was under Steve a few weeks ago....ERGO super slow loading and response times

Isn't it amazing that when any one of the millions of commercial businesses migrate hardware and software they're able to do it without these problems? If IB had a retail storefront that provided them transactional revenue, my guess is they'd have made this happen. Since they weren't worried about losing a nickle in this process, they can take the amateur-hour approach.

Some of the many sites IB acquired since OSO:
6SpeedOnline.com, Rennlist.com, G35Driver.com, MyG37.com, My350z.com, ZDriver.com, NorthAmericanMotoring.com, ScoobyNet.com and PuppyDogWeb.com.
And with 80 Million in cash they are in a great position to buy more.

From the Sun Microsystems site, on the subject of IB leaving Linux for Solaris 10:

“ My IT staff members are experts in their field. So, when they call vendors for technical support, it's critical, and not something on which we can wait a day. We wanted a vendor that we could rely on for expert OS support. That’s why we went with Sun. ”
