If you go to the IMCO or Everett straight shaft, what hole should the Stellings box be in? The middle hole or all the way down (top hole)???

After talking with Stellings, if you use the Everett shaft the box is no longer adjustable. You can set it at any setting but it has to stay in that position.

If you use a straight shaft, the box is going
to have to be set in the top hole position
( lowest setting)

If you install a Stellings. Get in touch with me. Today I fabbed a grease line for my Stellings. I took a 18in grease line ($5 bucks) with an adapter into the bearing carrier, then drilled a hole in the access cover and tapped it and fit a quick release ($2) then a grease zerk($1) on the outside so now you can grease the carrier bearing sort of like you do to a gimble bearing. This will add some serious life to the Stellings set up....

Stellings told me that the top holes are neutral, well actually they are 7/8" up.
