Actually...do a little reviewing here...you are making the "facts" up. I never said anything about Fountain beating Skater, or a Vette beating a Ferrari (c'mon, man, the new Z06 is bad, but would you take one over the prancing horse). My point thru this entire ridiculous discourse is simply that Fountain is getting major pub, good or bad, out of this...presumably with his targeted audience.
Tank...I COMPLETELY agree that his techinique is terrible...I think the whole Cat Killer concept is insane...you cannot argue with PHYSICS, a cat is faster than a V...period. BUUUUT....people are talking, and have been for quite some time now.

The point i was referring to was in post 92 when you said a vette wouldn't beat a ferrari. Simple. The new zo6 is sick . Would i rather have a ferrari ? Absolutely.
I agree with your point on fountain getting publicity for his target audience, but as you said , in reality power for power there aint no way a v's beating a cat !

Seriously, Skaters are phenominal...quite possibly the best performance boat in the world. The factory is amazing, the layup and technology in the boats are top-notch...and the finished products do their talking on the water. But if you don't understand the difference between the two companies...and the required advertising and marketing techniques for each nameplate...well...you ain't gonna beat a Ferrari with a Corvette.
