Just got a phone call from Tom Abraham, back from the race. Says the water was nice and the race was epic! Ran the Maximus over averaging around 100mph and ran it back averaging 110 mph!

15 miles out of Miami with the big building looming in the distance, they ran into a mechanical issue, stopped to check out and realized they blew a blower.

Tom, in a spirit that truly represents the memory and spirit of Don Arronow, said, “F*CK IT!” and ran the boat at 60 mph on one motor to cross the finish line.

Congrats to Tom and his crew, Lip-Ship Performance and Richie Zul and all other participants on representing the drive, spirit and competitive nature that this race was to honor.

There will be video of the run to follow.
