I met George a few years ago on a Donzi run from Hometead to Isle Morada. He had just sold his Donzi, and I asked him why. He told me it was because he just had a new child, and decided he should quit tempting fate, so he could watch his child grow up, and he was the most safety concious high performance boater I ever met. You've probably seen pictures of him with a paracute strapped to his back. I think he told me 124 was his highest speed. His boat is in Saratota now.
Helluva a nice guy, and smart as a whip too.

Eeek! I go boating on Lake Huron for two days and this thread is up to 685 posts! Is the gps run still on for sunday??

I'm sure there is on the donzi net. It might not be the 124 pass, but it was well over 100.

I still don't understand all the race challenges from TD. It doesn't matter who he outruns, he claimed the boat will run 100. Let the GPS be the widowmaker. Is this thing on for this weekend? If so, Monday should be fun around here.
