You're probably right, but first I just need someone to give it a quick look and make sure this boat is what the seller says it is.

Pretty sure that boat is located at our marina now... Anything you can tell me about it? They claim it runs mid 80's???

The new owner doesn't know much about it and the marina suggested that I show him how to drive it but I turned down thier suggestion/offer.......

It's blue, shrinkwrapped, the guy has owned it for 10+ years, doesn't use it much, his name is Wayne.

Same here. Different boat.

The one that was at Proroc was/is white with purple&blue stripes and running a blown 454 as I recall. A little rough around the edges.

Sounds like the one we have at the marina but not the one georges is asking for info about.. If it had a harwood hatch scoop that's the boat that's now at our marina.... I heard it's blown but I don't hear a blower whine when he fires up and he uses captains call around the docks. For a 77' it's not bad IMHO....

Pantera had a Harwood scoop so more than likely, thats the one. It has a B&M 175 or 250 on it as I recall. Basically, the motor is a 525SC. It looks good till you get up close and personal then you will see a few things. Starboard side of the hull as I recall, also around the tab brackets, but as you said, for its age it is not too bad. they are truly fun boats to drive with a little power behind them.
