Hell if the price keeps going up he will be able to buy a boat that can really go 100.

I was thinking the same thing.
He's already getting close to the value of the Stingray.

Just a couple thoughts. I do that on occasion. Some are good, some are not.

He has mentioned before he runs for $300-$500.
The current $5500 might be too steep for him to cover even if he did want to run. So maybe it needs to be lowered back down?? (As most, I have no idea on his finances)
The amount may have gotten to high before he logged on to accept.

The boat really can't go 100.1, thus no reply.

Or everyone is falling right in his hand, he's just waiting to play it. Gets on here talking smack about 100mph runs, gets some nay sayers and puts on a little show, (for those that did actually show up) but at a lower speed to his new and improved number of 85+. Then sits back and lets the boys poke at him till real money is thrown down. Interesting concept.
I'd like to know where Bernie would put his money being how he has 1st hand experince.

Has there been a time table to accept the challenge?

Yeah, I think occaisonally too.

You're reading into this too much, and giving him too much credit.
He had his shot.
He couldn't get it up.

You are falling to fallacy (or phallusee...) that he can accomplish more than 100.
Ain't gonna happen, done and gone.

Suprising since he is a BIG TIME street racer............We all thought this would be easy money for him!

I have a "feeling" that boat won't run 100, if THIS cant bring him out to do it.

This is at a minimum 11 races worth (at 500 a pop), and seeing as getting 2 races was "impossible" last Sun, it'd be worth showing your hand I'd think to win this much.

I guess he assumes that every potential "mark" is on OSO or will hear of his speed?

I doubt he's won over 5g's on the water in his life, now it sounds like his cars may be a different story.
