You have to adjust the idle with a scan tool then. In neutral, adjust the mechanical stop so the IAC rest between 0-20 counts (have to let it stabilize). Then, in gear, it will go between 80-140 depending on prop and gear ratio.

No problems with mine but it does help to pause between shift manuevers. i.e do not go directly from forward to reverse, pull to neutral for a moment then back into gear.
