"Doc" Mike Jensen is a neighbor at my LOTO marina. This boat originally had Mercury 600SC's before going back to Fountain for the 1075's. Have driven the boat and it really accelerates and handles very nicely. JT is going to give Doc & his son a couple days of personal instruction on high speed driving of this boat in a couple weeks.

Get one of the guys on here to give a ride in a cat vs v the same day same water. CatCanDo up here (Barry) convinced my wife. Still lost though when the difference in insurance quote came through. (Of course the BT cabin vs the Mares cabin also had something to do with it).

I'm in the same position Rat and you can bet the v-bottom (and the wife) is going to win out again, dammit!!! Mine's all about the speed as long as the creature comforts are there (and a liveable insurance premium). Oh well, at least she enjoys this expensive ass sport too.
