The problem with a hit that big is the repair may or may not withstand another hit that big and now we have a two-fatality boat. Unless the original builder repaired it and provided documentation that it posessed the same structural integrity as a new boat, I wouldn't ride in it, let alone own it.

I'm picturing those commercials, where the car is on fire and the text from the used add appears. "This car is HOT!!!"

or swamped in a storm. . . "new upholstery".

This time around safety was taken into consideration. The child in picture 1 has on a lifevest. In picture 2 he has a quad padded dual sided neck restraint system.

c'mon guys. In VERY poor taste on more than one level but just trying to lighten the mood of the board!
It sucks that the seller isnt telling the story, but the boat is redone and hopefully the title will say if it is salvaged. I have bought and sold ALOT of salvaged bikes. Always told the buyer and never washed one. I also never asked the insurance company if it was fatal. I dont want to know and it really doesnt matter at that point does it?

I'd buy the dual-sided neck restraint system, even if it was a salvage.
