the fountain bottom has a v pad and is a 21 degree I believe, well it looks like I am up grading to a blower motor I think. because thats what it will take to get my 4000lb 24 to 100, theres guys that had between 1000 to 1100hp to hit 98 to 103 with my boat but with stock drive height no box. I know my buds 26 26degree sutphen would hit 98mph with 850hp no box either cause they tried one on his sister boat BOXER RACING and it was all over the place now peter owns it with out the box and it rides great they ran the old A class and p4 and p5 since 01 or 02. I think you have a 24 degree bottom too like me I do have a small pad about 4'' wide. but like Isaid in testing my hull the 2'' shortie I picked up at least 4mph over stock, I made a carb change and shortie at the same time so not sure which one made the most change I went from about 77 to 83 plus so theres 6 to8mph extra I think with a bigger prop I will get 2mph so 85 with 670hp. and if the other baja was getting 98 with 900 to 1000hp I would hope to break a 100 with 950 to 1000hp with the blower motor if I get it. if not Iam adding a few changes by MR HORSEPOWER DEAN GELLNER TO GET MY NA MOTOR TO 750 AND SHOOT FOR 90.

Hey theres a guy with a baja 25 ol from oversea's he went this route 525hp 3'' raised imco box you have to mod the exhaust holes in the transom and he got to 81gps most 25ols run 74to75gps, stock xr, this year he moved up to a 600hp merc and the 2'' imco shortie he has a wider pad then me. he is still dialing in and add a 1''filler on the drive so he has a total of 4'' of short drive height, I THINK HE IS AT 3'' FROM THE BOTTOM he is getting hire speeds but not there yet 87,I wish I bought a 3'' shortie and a standard box. so his boat liked the box not like the sutphen 26 which hated it. please keep us posted on what you do. Iam going to post pics on my bulkhead replacement. good luck and you do need external steering and full hydraulic to the helm like I posted earlier, I have the add on and I had to much slop in the wheel so it still chinewalked like a bellie dancer and I would have to swing the wheel in counter frenzie to keep it up right over 76 but at 80 and above it was bad my arm would lock up after a 20minute ride at wfo. but fun so with the full installed this year it should almost all be gone there is always a lil swing here and there in the ocean. good luck my pain pills are kicking in this morning so I got blah blah mouth

Thanks for all the info Airtime...

I bought my Challenger as a repo at K-Zoo auto auction, it had one foot in the grave. I have redone it for two years, Appearance Products Skater style interior, white out package, Autometers, Gaffrig sticks, 10 speaker JL Aduio, Aluminum swim platform, blower hatch, gaffrig switchables, and a big motor. MR

Huh?

What kinda OMC ya running now? I've seen a lot of boats running 600 to 700 ponies on stock super cobra drives with no problems.
