you think Motley Crew had it at half throttle when they put it on the roof? (glad you guys are ok) like i said i am sorry you did not have a good time but i gotta tell ya . . . looking at the fans i saw lining both sides of the course. well . . . they had a good time. It was also one of the most diverse selections of hardware i have ever seen. Supercats, Supercat lights, Unlimiteds, Vintage Skiffs and GP's, Superlight tunnels, not to mention the fantastic display of vintage race boats on display around the pits like Miss America X. They canceled the last Unlimited race due to conditions on the course, roughly a 30mph headwind at the exit of the hairpin and pretty good swells at the end of the straight down the front stretch. I also wish they could have gotten the finals off but in that short rough chop even we had trouble keeping the props biting.
if it sounds like i'm offended by your first post its because i am slightly an i stand by that. again i am sorry you did not have a good time but i saw many that did. Believe it or not . . . I . . . me . . glassdave actually signed about 200 or so autographs(needed the batbrush:D) along with the rest of the racers in a poster signing session they had for the fans. It was very very cool and the kids were lined up way around the stage, it reminded me of when i was a kid and some races i had gone to. This is what its about for me.
again sorry you had a bad time, there was plenty there to keep the boating enthusiast entertained.
heres us at half throttle :p:D
