I'm sure in time Sy will Chime in and give us all the "Rest of the Story" sooner or later. He's the one I think that has all the pieces.
As for the photos that I looked at in the Cig section. The only Obvious items that I noticed were the lack of Battery Covers and the "New" HIN plate on the transom.
It was immaculate when Dollar Marine Sold it and I felt that the Owner that it was stolen from took good care of it.
But I would have some real questions over those Hour readings.
I do think that the next owner will get tired of the questions. But hey maybe he'll embrace the notoriety.

I had the original 500's pulled and replaced with Zul Dog 625's at 200+ hrs.
The Zul's had around 150-180 hrs. on them when one went ka-boom because of a bad / collapsed Oil Filter.
Did a ReBuild on that one and a Top End re-Build on the other and then put on another 150+ hrs. before selling to the owner that it was stolen from.

Hmmmmm.....well, maybe the con man rebuilt them?
