I hope, hope, hope things don't turn out for you like most partnerships do! If it does, your pain at the pump will pale in comparison.
Friends and money- if you ever involve them together be prepared to lose one of them... Good luck! |

Either way- I absorbed $2800 he didn't have to, drove his other car down (tank full already) so he could leave straight from there to go to Myrtle Beach and towed his boat home (after washing it and flushing motors) with his truck, unhooked boat in his garage, moved his other truck further in to his garage and parked the truck I towed the boat with behind that one in the garage, filled fridge with leftover beer from fridge in boat and coolers, rinsed coolers out and left open to dry and turned the lights off when I left.
REAL boaters take care of boaters; not freeload or rip them off on parts. Boaters get screwed enough- buying a boat, selling a boat, buying fuel, insurance- why we do it to each other so much is beyond me... :ernaehrung004: |
Hey mark..
YOu want to absorbe a nother $2800. just let me know.. I'll take you to any FLA Poker Runs. :evilb: |

It is rare for that to work out. However, we should be good. We've been friends a long time and dealt in money before. Glad to see you back, Mark!

ps- I think I am the only person I or those that know me know that found it to be less expensive to buy my own boat than ride with others!!
They are still pissed and want me back to a rider! |
LOL.. You don't "gotta" pay.. but you can absorb anything you want.
The Senorita is ready. Running good. Working on breaking that hard to reach 90MPH mark. Got 87 so far. This thing goes through anything. At Sarasota.. we were the last one out of the docks. 6 or 7th at Lunch stop. I pushed it a bit and had no problems. Except the white knuckles of my "passangers" :evilb: C'mon down Mark.. Destin ??? |

I have noticed that there are 4 or 6 people in a boat instead of everyone taking their boat. One time it's our boat, next time it's someone else's. That helps too. Yep, This is what we are doing this year also, unless we just go across the lake. I think this year I am not only down on the amount of gas I have used year to date, but I am way down on $ spent on gas year to date also. Year is not over yet so we will see come the end of the year. |

I know this current climate has hurt some good people- and kept them off the water. At the same time, it's also keeping a lot of the amateur-hour clowns off the water.
