That's a good question redline. We usually stop at the Oasis truck stop in Alabama. The trucks are usually due for fuel about then so we go ahead and gas the boats too since it's only another hour and a half or so to the beach. However, I'm sure we're going to need to refuel at least once while we're there so...

Jmeng, yeah, we usually tow empty (empty as possible anyway). Hell, that'a another 1400lbs or so that I don't have to drag around. Don't know what your boat holds but it's up to you.
The reason we stop at the Oasis is it's a truck stop and easy to manueuver around. Once you get into Destin most gas stations are a little tight for me to get into. Crew cab dually and 45' of trailer makes for an interesting ride around town!!!
I think it's the exit right past the Gulf Shores exit. I'll check Mapquest and make sure.

Don you better get to work because I passed by your shop this morning going to get state stickers for my shop and you had a shop full of cars.
I say the samething at my shsop the hired help can handle it till Tuesday when I show back up.

Just got word gas prices on the road in Destin are in the $3.60s so I guess we'll hold off on filling the boat up. I get about .30/gal discount at Exxon or Mobil so we'll just hope we can find one to squeeze into. That'll save us a 1000+ lbs plus 30 minutes or so in the morning.

Yep, and this morning my shop software took a chit, and my help was running late, and we had cars rolling in and.....
