We will be going. We are going the Saturday before and spending the whole week there. We have about 5 or 6 boats going from Clear Lake. They are all leaving Tuesday. Should be a great week.

We're in!!! Leaving from Hammond @ 9:00 Thursday morning the 14th. Coming home Monday the 18th. Should be 6 - 8 of us trailering together.

Wouldn't miss it. That, Cumberland and Key West seem to be my remaining travel events for 2008.

No there is not, but a few places will take it off the trailer and place it in the water for you. I wanna say they charge about $300.00. If you need help finding out, I can help you out there..

Are they not going to do the heli photos out of the jetties this year? That is my favorite part.

Clark and I are going to stay within walking distance to the festivities, and not 6 or 7 miles away at one of the Sterling Companies' condo properties.

The certificate is still good, and its worth about $1100 bucks if you get a 3 bedroom. I'll sell it for $400 bucks if anyone is interested. PM me, and we'll make sure you can book with the certificate before we finalize.

Thats the email I got,also there cutting back on the boats that do the photoshoot,last year they all bunched up,people breaking inline,toward the end they were starting in the inlet in the waves going out,a real short exposure,They said it was getting dangerous ,accidents the last 3 years,Friday had of pretty good rollers,saw a few hang it out to far:eek: The water was churned up (going out)so the picks didnt have the clear green look,

Don't know what time Thursday y'all are planning to pull out but you're welcome to convoy with us if you want. Thursday morning at the Petro truck stop in Hammond on I-12. Usually meet there around 8:00 - 8:30, gran a little breakfast and then hit the road around 9ish.

We've had some trailer trouble before and it sure is nice to have some help when it happens!

I've never been to a Poker Run , seriously. Anybody got an open seat? I may have to drive down.

I never miss it...be there Wednesday to Monday.
