Our thoughts and prayers are with you Bern....cancer is one of the ugliest illnesses known to man. The only thing you can do is to make sure she is a comfortable as possible.

Have you considered moving her to FOX CHASE near Philadelphia or to SLOAN KETTERING in New York City as both hospitals are among the best for cancer treatment ?

I know all to well what you and your family are going through now as I did the last 3 yeays . make the best of it . there is a song that sayes it all . Tim Mcgrall , Live like you are dieing . It sounds harsh but I talked to my mom about this and we did some things that we wanted to do before she passed away . Its hard , very hard but that is what we had to do . It has taken me quite a while just to type this because of old feelings keep slowing me down . good luck & best wishes , Tim

well we got mom out of hosp and into a rehab. the prognosis is grim...they say 3+months. our goal is to get her back to NJ for others opinions and see if we can get her strong enuff to possibly buy her some more time without destroying her quality of life

thank you for all of the phone calls emails and texts they were much needed and appreciated

well heres the latest...mom is still hangin in there. still has the illeostomy bag, just had a petscan that is showing adhesions/lesions on the abdominal walls. shes home in FLA with dad, has a physical therapist/;home heath aid in 4 times a week. On her good days pops gets her outta the house. There going next week to an Ovarian specialist in Orlando for a 2nd opinion and to see if theres anything they can do to buy her time...quality time. Will keep you all updated and again thank you for all the well wishes, calls, emails etc...MUCH APPRECIATED
