I've been curious about this to. Do you have any dyno sheets you can post from 1850hp model?

Yes, sorry guys, It is in Norwegian.
best I can do on my way out the door

New fartsrekord - 300 km / h in pleasureboat
Fartssirkuset in Abuja ga probably many want to give the gas the next time they are going off to run the boat, for speed and excitement often provide a proper adrenalinkikk. And really speed and excitement got the audience to experience up close, when the Nor-Tech turned up its fartsvidundre. Not least when they put new fartsrekord by 300 km / ten Arendals port with its new 47-foot pleasuereboat. -- It should be mandatory with courses and certificate before begir out in such a boat, or are considering such a purchase, "says NGP-chief Carsten Per Michelsen to boarding.no

This boat set new fartsrekord in Abuja when it passed 300 km / h. (photo: Bjørn Søreng (

Nor-Tech was established in Ft.Myers on the west coast of Florida in 1992. Companion Trond Schou from Brisbane and Nils Johnsen from Oslo had seen the opportunities to produce and sell Hi-Performancebåter to the U.S. market.

The two friskussene had produced a 50-foot V-bunnsbåt under the name
High-Tech 5000 in Norway / Lysekil, Sweden, without that it had taken all the way down. But in Hi-performance boats paradise-Florida as the opportunities and it was here it all started.

After a few years was V-380 team and eventually came SuperCat 5000 as a substitute Nils put on the map as an eminent designer. At some point it came V-4300 SuperCat 3600 and SuperCat 4300.

In recent years, the sales of V-380 has been very moderate and it was decided to give this model a new design and relansere this under the name of 3900.
Both the hull and innerliner is completely new design and already during the launch in Miami Int Boatshow 2005, we received amazing feedback on the new design.

The world's coolest skjærgårdsjeep

Arendalsmennene Per Carsten Michelsen and Rune Høgevoll built the spring of 2001 to 380 centerconsole and custom designed for the North American market. The world's coolest skjærgårdsjeep wrote Practical Boating after the test the summer of 2002, and after that the boats have been duly discussed in ***presse.

Under Norwegian Grand Prix in Arendal was fartsvidundrene used as pacebåter before the race and stood ready when the winners were voted by the finishing line.

Safety first ...

But Nor-Tech is thinking more than just a boat, the environment's in the driving seat.

-- People who are considering buying or lead such a boat should attend a compulsory course at Nor-Tech, before they are doing something else, "says Per Carsten Michelsen to boarding.no
--
But the boats are not just for sale for "rikinger" who can afford such a "toy". You can also get the opportunity to experience these fartsmonstrene on the water.
-- For those who are interested in speed and excitement, we are organising part-time special where you can rent boats and have their own private arrangement. But this must of course are planned, but we are doing as much as we can, if we receive such requests, "says Michelsen who is also the public in general, the new teamsjefen to Jotun.

Dreams about the speed and excitement, so will a trip in Nor-tech `s boats work? (photo: Bjørn Søreng)

See photo album of Nor-tech boats at work ...
-- Under sued in Abuja, it was intended that the boarding representative would have a "testtur", but it would not værgudene, which opened its locks and made both the visibility to zero, and security could not be met.

You can arrange your own race ...

But we got at least know what they will cost to run a form of "gocart" on the water.

-- Normally the journey takes about 3 minutes, and the price is at around 1000 dollars, but then you also spend a speed of around 200 km / h and I can guarantee provides a proper adrenalinkikk, and beyond, "said the experienced helmsman.

He can also tell you that Nor_tech can pave the way for those who wish to arrange their own races with these farstmonsterne. Are you planning something like this, you should probably be out in good time, when several of the boats are included in the offshore circus.

"Green fartsmonster" ...

And if you do not think 200 km / h sounds like a lot, was there in Abuja set fartsrekord with Nor-Tech innovator Trond Schou `s new" green fartsvidunder ". Direct from the Florida man had brought with it the world's fastest pleasureboat.

A 47-foot Nor-Tech with jetturbiner of which each of the two engines provide 2000 horsepower. Something that should hold for most people who think speed…

To messeavisen under NGP Schou was able to tell that the boat under testkjøringen in Abuja would run with a mixture of petrol and diesel, but it could just as easily been used for French fries oil from the McDonalds.

When fartsmonsteret was given the green light for its testtur in Abuja, kept the audience breath before Schou broke all the horsepower loose, and jaggu did it quickly!

-- As fast, it is never someone who has run in Abuja, and there is enough time until the next time. In spite of small waves, Schou achieved over 300 km / h in the short stretch.

See photos of "fartsmonsteret here!
We turde not ask what the price of wonderful was, but it's probably not cheap?
