Hell Ed you should ask some of your new york friends, They probobly know more about where the boat is then Jeff, Griff I take it you are talking about the guy frank, I have seen Jeffs insurance cert and it shows a very high cargo amount, more than mine, and I feel mine is high.

No problem, I carry 500,000 in cargo ins and Jeff has 750,000. He had 500 but he told me last year that he was upping it due to the higher cost of some of the boats. I am staying at 500. I can not afford the larger premium with the fuel being so high.

I'm confused boat & trailer damage or just trailer??

I read it that he jack knifed the trailer pretty bad to where the owner of the fountain had to buy a new trailer. But the boat was ok

I have been following this sad turn of events since the incident happened. Mike and I have talked and I even offered to let him use my trailer and would help him to get the boat to FL. It is very sad that someone does not take responsibility for their actions. If you F it up pay for it or fix it.
The trailer in question according to the manufacturer was not fixable. Therefore Mike had to have another trailer made and his boat sat in limbo in KY while he tried to find a way to get his new to him boat delivered before his pregnant wife gave birth. I personally have never met Mike but through the power of OSO I feel we have become friends. We do keep in contact either through here or by phone. I really do wish the best for the situation to be handled properly and with as little aggravation as possible Bill |
