Not that there's anything funny about an accident like this, it does make me think about some of the recent photos I've seen on here where on-the-water mishaps ocurred. Some of these flyweight cats are reduced to shards by rolling in water. This Formula looks like it could be rolled over & launched. They do build a tough boat.

I was thinking the same thing. Replace the blown out hatch, a new windshield and frame, some minor glasswork, a good buff and drain the oil out of the top of the motors and this thing might be ready for Labor Day. I would have expected the deck to split from the hull along the rubrail. I'm sure there is more damage than visible. Glad everyone os ok!!!

Might not be the brand of tires but how old. I just replaced mine, lots of tread but 8 years old, had old ones blow before and trash the trailer.

Lucky nothing like that happened.

Well put. My understanding is that most tire manufacturers recommend tire replacement after 7 years.

Near record temperatures of 105ºF yesterday could have also been a factor if there were tire blowouts.
