I can get Valvoline VR1 racing 40w ( what's in them now) or Mobil 1 15w-50. I've got twin 377's, so nothing exotic or anything, but I would like the best protection possible.

Metal Bros... it's not all "fun in the sun" down here. With so many half naked girls and all those ice cold rum-n-cokes it's really hard to get much done... I may have to move north just so I can get some boat work done!

How often should one change the oil if they are using Mobile 1 15 - 50 full synthetic?

i do mine at 25, but Brandons are supercharged, for me it is probably overkill, but I would rather be safe than sorry. As expensive as it is, it is still cheaper than a motor.

Maybe I'll call my distributor and get together a big buy again....

Is that the cheapest way to buy V-twin through a group buy?

I would say it depends on the engines.

I changed my 525SC about every 25 hours. I change my 502mpi's at 40-50 hrs.

I also look at the change in oil color. If its dirty, change it.

not sure, I'll have to call my distributer to see if they are still carrying it... If so I'll work up a price...last time I had a couple people try to cancel cards after they received shipment...not really sure if I want to go through that headache again...

My understanding about Mobil 1 is that it is no longer a full synthitic oil, It is know a blend. Can somebody confirm this?
