What the wet lbs. of a trip 47 Apache. I Know A older 50 Nortech is 20-21k depending on fuel and I could run 85+ mph in any normal water under 10 feet with a 98-100 top end in some nice 3 foot chop.

My guess is any recent ride like that would not bode as well as those "resin buckets" after repeat Ocean pounding like the Apache video.

Parnell has kept putting in glass to reinforce his Saber 41 (essentially the same as an Apache) in order for it to withstand the pounding he dishes out to it in Lake Michigan and Florida.

I have seen him jump (we were running along in our Tiger) in Florida off of South Beach the wave of a 70' Sport fisherman, he was without a doubt at least 20' feet in the air running about 75 mph. I would not of tried that with anything built lightweight for speed on 2" chop these days, my guess is a lot of them would of folded in half.

Just my humble opinion.

I think from the older boats, BERTRAM 38 COMP. They beat any APACHE out there in real ruff water.

The Bertram 38 on its best day was no match for the 41 Apache.
