For boats under 50' I would says the 47Apache. For boats 50'-100' I think it would be the Nor-Tech 80 yacht. Over 100' I would vote for the 124' Ermis2. All those boats run over 60knots.

There's no question as to the reputation of Apache's in the big, love the Skater's but I am kinda keen to see how the 426 Skater V/Cummins fairs out running the Bermuda challenge. I know not expect any vid's like Razz running the rough out of this boat but 20 hours running the ocean in a sit down is a testiment to how the hull handles....To take the challenge title back, the boat has to survive and I assume the operators would like to get out of the boat unassisted - would take a good hull and favourable seas.

Now that this thread is back up.....Its pretty well know how a 41 Apache handles the rough, but I would be curious to see which boat you guys think handles the rough better: A 36 Apache or a Flat bottom 38 Top Gun? Anyone ever ridden in both boats?
