Thank you.

From this computer I have 3 addresses. My home computer also has 3 addresses. The work computer usually defaults to the corporate house account. So when somebody reply's to a e-mail, EVERYBODY sees it. Not acceptable at all. This was fine and dandy when you had the form. I could either copy the address to my personal account (the prefered method) or just double check the return address was correct.

The address is currently set correctly. Am I to assume that they are receiving e-mails directed twords my personal account?

Originally posted by Cord The address is currently set correctly. Am I to assume that they are receiving e-mails directed twords my personal account? You give an email address to the bulletin board. Someone else on the board goes to your user information and sends you an email through the form. An email appears in the inbox OF THE EMAIL ADDRESS YOU ENTERED, addressed from the person who sent it. OR You send an email to someone on this board via the form. An email appears in thier inbox with a return address IDENTICAL to the email address you entered in your profile. In other words, the email appears to come from your address, the address you put into your profile. You are to assume that the email you have set in your profile IS the email that people will see (and reply to) when you send them a message via the email form. |
Ok, thankyou. For reasons stated above, I was previously unwilling to make that assumption.
