Just had the motor redone into a 589 wth hopefully "bullet proof" parts and it will hold together i mean everything holds togther. I seriosly owned the boat for 2 years now and put 20 hours between 2 motors.

I'm running gen 3's,they are big,ugly and take up ALOT of space BUT they have worked extremely well for 3 years so far on my boat . Make sure you get your holes for the tails cut correctly or you will have sealing problems. I had to cut the inlet air horn and blower inlet screen down to clear my m-3 procharger. My boat was so loud with the 5" stellings style tails that you could hear it for 5 miles at wot,there was no way around having mufflers,Smitty
