Hey shor, I'm out in the sticks to stay. I do have wireless though. (Microwave) It's guarranteed 64k. Not cable , but not bad. Ti is availible but it cost $400 per month. That's a lot of gas money.

phone line, Cable or Dsl are still not in my area. That sucks. I bought a new computer with a 2.0 Northwood (really fast) and then when I go on the net it sucks. It,s like buying a boat that goes 200 mph and hitting the rev limiter at 45mph.

I've got a T3 pipeline at work, so it's great...I zip right through this like it's nothing. Full page of 30 posts all with large pictures loads in about 1-2 seconds.

Then I get home and I have dial-up...My modem is good for 56k v.90, etc....But the phone lines suck and I rarely connect at over 36k.....SSSLLLOOOWWW!!!!!!!

Currently using Roadrunner (cable). Very fast most of the time but slows occasionally. Can download a song from Morpheus in about 2 minutes vs. 10 minutes I used to wait with dial-up. I downloaded a video of a Honda Civic smoking a twin turbo Supra from Morpheus at 162 Kb/s. Thats the fastest I've ever seen it.
