I've bought a pair of pictures from them, but negotiated a better price. The pictures are truely high quality, I only wish I had digital copies of the files as I would be able to use the images in more places then (desktop, digital picture frames, etc.). Granted they sell the digital copies, but the prices are the same as the hard copies.

In this day and age it is bizarre that the company doesn't host the images online (watermarked), allow you to recrop then order the size and quantity you want.

Bought pictures from them a month or so ago. Great, large pictures, but not worth the $. Worked out about $225 per photo. Quality good, large prints, timely service, but I'm not spending that much for pictures anymore. I think they would do a lot better with reasonable prices.
Both: Jayboat and FPC prices are bettter.

If you haven't had them framed, or if you can unmount them easily, take em to a local photolab and have them scanned. Then you can use them any way you want.

They shot photos of the LKN fun run last year,
I couldn't get their site to work for me, so I never saw what shots were even for sale. Could have been a mac thing..... but gave up after a while.
Was disappointed at the time. Now I'm glad.

we have had pics taken by them half a dozen times, never bothered to order one. They have a stubborn way of doing business. I understand their point that yes helicopters are expensive. But if they chopped the prices in half, they would probably sell 5-10 times the pictures. Seems simple to me.

yeah I know, but I think they put copy write stamp on the back, which might require some disception on my part to get them scanned.
