Looney Tunes MTI...

Talk about an insane amount of detail!?!?!

http://www.pier57.com/2009LooneyTunes.htm

My 3 1/2 year old son would LOVE this thing - any one know what kind of time went into this paint job!?

jhiguy377 09-11-2008 02:29 PM

hmm......diffrnt strokes for diffrnt folks.....only in America

Ms PatriYacht 09-11-2008 02:37 PM

 to each their own, I'd prefer to go tasteful and use the money not spent on those kind of details to get something nice that sparkles:D But of course I will never have that kind of money so I guess it doesn't matter anyway.:p

JUSTGOLF 09-11-2008 02:41 PM

I'm sure Mark at Visual Imagination had a great deal of time in that boat, if you see the boat in person it is unreal.

Neverfastenuf 09-11-2008 02:46 PM

It is off the hook. Even though I have not seen it in person, the pictures, while I am sure do not do it justice, show incredible detail.

Sam

At first look I said, "whow, too much"....But as you go through the pics....F*ck it, I'll be the first to say it...That thing is bad azz! Why was this not the next Miami Boat Show theme boat? That thing is CRAZY detailed! I love all the detail in the engine compartment. The tools in the bildge, all the acme stuff, tweety sawing the stringer, and all the stringers painted like raw wood. TIGHT! I'd like to know the hours of work into that paint and the cost.

AMAZING detail and first class quality FOR SURE. That boy can paint! :cool-smiley-011:

I had heard in the neighborhood of 3000 man hours went into the theme and it cost 100K .

My thoughts exactly. :(

Incredible work though! :drink:

44MTI 09-11-2008 04:30 PM

The detail and artistry is amazing, Probably the most detailed work I have ever seen. I don't feel it is my place to reveal the cost but I will tell you that it was OVER $100K.

boater31v 09-11-2008 05:14 PM

I saw it in person at the Shootout and it was amazing the detail. I would say as far as detail it is a toss up between this boat and the Batman boat. IMO

Xchoke03 09-11-2008 05:17 PM

I would love to see Skater or MTI put out an Orange County Chopper like show. Show the building of the Theme pieces and the Day to Day building of normal boats

Great minds think alike bro! :drink:

BraceYourself 09-11-2008 06:11 PM

That detail is incredible

pkspx 09-11-2008 06:12 PM

Anyone know if this will be appearing at the Lauderdale Boat Show?

Quinlan 09-11-2008 06:13 PM

I dig the wood crate look and the tools in the bildge.

candyman35 09-11-2008 07:05 PM

Incredible!!!!:drink:

Those stock Mercury engines look way out of place. They need to open the crates and install the Acme power.:D

BLee 09-11-2008 07:11 PM

I'm actually a "little" surprised the blowers & valve covers on the 700's don't have SOMETHING on them? Gary must have been tired at that point, or they're waiting for the Merc 1200's to be delivered.:D

my00b16si 09-11-2008 07:14 PM

I think this will be the miami theme boat for sure, great work guys!

Full Force 09-11-2008 07:18 PM

That boat is sweet!!! I love that paint job, i am also a big Looney Tunes fan!!!

shw-n-go h20 09-11-2008 07:33 PM

WOW. that about sums it up for this boat.... bad azz

I don't know if this one will be there or not. But I do know that others are already in the works. And look incredible.:party-smiley-004:

US1 Fountain 09-11-2008 08:22 PM

2009 yr and already on the market. Is the paint dry yet? :)

I agree, amazing work... with attention to detail that is outta this world. This stuff just floors my mind. Very Nice!

PWRQWST 09-11-2008 09:12 PM

saw it in CPR's shop during the shootout and it looks great in person.

That is what caught me eye the most.

Rebel_Heart 09-11-2008 09:44 PM

Saw it at LOTO Shootout - what a crowd pleaser! The attention to detail is amazing. There were as many people around this boat as the Bud Light.

Enforcer30 09-11-2008 10:00 PM

Pwrqwst did you get my email?

GLH 09-12-2008 03:37 AM

Who owns it? Mel Blanc?

Speed H2O 09-12-2008 04:38 AM

Does it belong to Mel Blanc Jr. ?

Funny, I did not see your above post!

corkdog1 09-12-2008 08:55 AM

While I would never paint my boat that way, You have to appreciate all of the art work and detail that went into that boat. Its a beautiful piece of art that I am sure all of us can appreciate and enjoy.
