Dyno-Flo Engines
I did a search and didn't find too much about them on here. Their 540 looks like a nice package at a great price. Anyone here have experience with them?

looks like a nice package for the price but I would not use the high volumn oli pumps, those will give it 75lbs at idle and blow out anywhere it can

Yep....I have Mellings 10778 oil pumps and make nearly 80 psi cold, 65-70 psi running and at temp. No problems but it could happen (knock on wood...) |
He uses Demon carbs for the 540 and 598 motors, but he will use EFI per customer wishes as a $5000 upcharge. You can't beat his prices, and it looks like he uses good parts.

This is no knock on dynoflow. Theres a list of good parts there. I think the Eagle cranks are forged in China and finished here. I would upgrade to a callies crank which Dynoflo also sells. A good engine really comes from who is putting these parts together. You want to use somone with experience putting performance marine engines together. There are some differences that need to be paid attention to.
