Trying not to be biased, but after working for Active Thunder through the late 90's and getting to drive many 25's and the first 28's, I'd have to vote for the Active Thunder 25. It's a great rough water boat with tall freeboard and a good sized cabin to overnight in. If all out speed were your hot button, then the Velocity 260 (24' plus the swim platform) would be a great choice. For comfort, Style and great quality I would choose the Checkmate 25' Convincer GTX!
