First off, glad you are ok. That looks like it was a violent hit!
Secondly, congratulations for having the boat so well secured that it stayed on the trailer. It could have been alot worse if the boat broke free!

DAMN NATE!!!! I'm off the site for a couple days and you go and wipe out your truck!!! I've had that same thing happen before but towing a smaller boat and I had a little bit of a shoulder to get off the road. You never mentioned whether the other driver was intoxicated or just preoccupied. Either way, I'm glad to hear you two are OK and hope the guy had some/any insurance.

WOW, glad you are OK. That could have been a lot worse. Good luck in getting everything sorted out sooner than later.

WOW !!! What a mess. Glad to hear you and your passengers are OK. The guy videoing said that the boat just came from Illinois. Did you just buy it at the beginning of the summer from a guy in the Morris Ill area?? If so, I think I know the original owner of that boat.

wow, I cant believe the boat stayed on the trailer thru all that. Man if that does not make people use transom straps I dunno what will. I am glad you are OK and the trailer / truck replacement is easy , just mechanical things. I hope the kid pulls thru, I think we all have been 17 and done stupid things in automobiles, I know I did more then my fair share back then. Please keep us posted.
