I re-upped for the same reason bouy.
But they only own the server and the software. They don't own us. And we are the independent, hearty types. Perf boaters. Not the same as NewPuppy owners.
We are the association. They are merely the mechanism. Without us... it is a pile of hardware and software that doesn't work right. And a few young people working for IB who occasionally leave the travel forum to see what we are up to.

I'm not gonna bandstand for the "new" OSO, but I'd like to think you didn't re-up to get the T-shirt.
Admit it, you come here for the knowledge, the banter, and a few characters that you can push their buttons. And to have some friendly fun.
I re-upped a few months ago just to keep up with a few people I want to make sure I stay in contact with - I consider them friends.
I may not re-up next time around.
