Not too fast...

This just might be on my bucket list....

Last week I saw an expose on being a hobo...

Found it to be rather exciting, especially when they profiled a very sucessful Minnesota businessman who stated that when he gets bored, he hits the rails for the summer...and his wife said that she understands his need for freedom and simply let's him go...

For us boat lovers, the pontoon adventure may be a reasonable replacement for an adventure road trip or ridin' the rails...

That is a very cool thing going on with those young men. I really like the Chuck Norris sharks teeth on the toons. I was young once and remember the road trips my friends and I took. None of us had a boat to do a trip lie this though. What these guys is doing rates as a #1. Going to the FloraBama, wow one of the very best places to go. I hope they make it for Shrimp Fest

We'll always be dumb enough to dream it.
Age just makes us too skeptical to think it could ever happen.

I'm skipping through this thread, and I have the windows media playing music that I've stored, and Iggy Pop "Lust for Life" just popped up playing.
Just seems very appropriate.

Another song that is sticking in my head is Jimmy Buffet "The weather is here, I wish you were beautiful"...

I just might be reaching my limit on all this corporate work stuff...

I know the locks from the river to get into the intercoastal in new orleans have been out for service for the past couple of months. They must of had to travel almost all the way down to the mouth to baptiste collette to get to the intercoastal to go that way. I don't like riding in the mississippi in a crew boat much less a 'toon!!!!

What a great story, I only wish I had done something like this. It will be a great story to tell for years to come. As we all know there will be plenty of time to work and pay bills.
