true...here is the discussion on the blowboaters equivalent to OSO, sailing anarchy http://forums.sailinganarchy.com/ind...howtopic=79808

what I take happened was that the little (40') boat 'rounded up' thats when the blowboat becomes overpowered by the wind and turns uncontrolably (refered to as 'wiping out')

Just like driving into work this morning, following a slo-puke in the hammer lane, impeding traffic, with a big bumper sticker that says...

*SAILBOATER*

why are these knobs all alike

The smaller boat should not have been that close to the Falcon to begin with if he could not control his boat.

If ignorance is bliss, this is one blissful blowboater.

As his sails went slack the idiot should put hard to starboard

He's lucky he was not run over. Right by this rule. Wrong by that rule. It's tough to argue your point when you're dead...

http://yachtpals.com/maltese-falcon-...collision-3074

Found this in the search engine of Yahoo. Looks to be real. Guess its not just speed boats that are raising insurance rates.
