Drivers are horrible in this area. I would bet that some loser cut the guy off and had to make a panic stop. Turning right from the left lane on a 3 lane road is common down here . 41 is a smooth, wide road there.

Good thing the drives were trimmed up! Ti e down straps, Tie down straps, Tie down straps!

Appears the boat wasn't strapped down. All I see is a little orange winch strap on the bow eye. This does not explain the broken tongue, but if it was strapped down it may have stayed on the trailer. Could there have been too much tongue weight, or an "OOOHHH CHIT" type of breaking situation? Either way that sucks!!!!!! Hope his insurance company doesn't pick up on that!!

This brings back awfull memories. Tire blow out did it for me.

Boat/trailer was totaled, and now I might have to let the new lady go due to an upcoming surgery.

I have never seen a trailer break like that, we have seen the folding toungue's break, but never I-Beams break apart.
