the trailer when it lost its toung probably dug into the ground/dirt and sudden stop. I would bet the straps would of snapped anyway? or eyelet pulled out

What kind of tow-vehicle can accellerate away from that monster on the bunks? Can't figure out how it is posible to loose a boat that big...?

...and has stop lights. They did say he was braking for a Red light. Maybe he was go'n too fast for his braking distance. After all, we are talk'n about a guy who doesn't even strap down a boat and I'm sure those were top of the line brakes on 2 of the 3 axles on that cheap azz trailer. It was unfortunate and a bummer that it happened...but when are people gonna stop tempting fate.

I watched the video again. If you watch the NorTech truck pulling away, it still didn't appear to have straps on the back.

YA! and another bolted togeather alum I-beam trailer. WHY WHY would you spend that much on a boat and then put some 1/2 azzed trailer under it????????????????

Cash Bar 10-09-2008 06:39 PM

Just a guess.

Popped off the ball and slammed into the ground causing the tongue area to SNAP and dig in.

But WTF do I know.
