My buddy made this video. I thought it was pretty well done. Wish I had some rough water footage in it.

Great Vid, Glad to hear KORN blaring but nothing was better than hearing those twin 1075's at the end. Killer paint job too.

The boat, the music, and the Professions. You guys will have way too much to talk about.

See you at the Captains Meetings.

Not me, holding off running the boat to insure making it to key west in Nov.

Nice boat. PFD's @ WOT would be a good idea.

Point taken... I always wear my lanyard.

THE TRUCK IS AN F-450. You guys are great. I had three PM's about towing with an F-350. The trailer has electric over hydraulic breaks on all six tires. Tows and stops like a dream.

I think my new disclaimer is going to be I tow with an F-450, I use transom straps, I always use my lanyard, when there is a higher risk I always have approved life vest on all passengers, I do not turn a stepped boat above 60mph, and I give assured clear distance.

Did I forget anytthing. :)

.

I think that is one of the best looking 46 out there, how fast does it run with the 1075's ? outstanding boat.

Funny you ask. I've personally have done 111mph with 5 people and just under 1/2 tank of fuel. That speed is attained without even really holding the throttles down for very long at all. Powerboat mag tested it at 118mph.

However I've had a hand full of people be very rude when I say I've done 111mph. They say I'm crazy and I'd be lucky to break 100mph. They tought about how they have 1300hp and the number I claim is bar talk. My rational is the newer cigs with steps, dry sump engines - trannies - and drives are very efficient. I try and be nice when people ask but I think untill someone really Knows what they are talking about they should not be so rude. In the video we hit 110mph (4 guys)but with crossing wake my camera guy got a little scared and only shot the 106.

I know, thanks for the compliment on the boat. I really like it. I wish there was more good video posted on the 46. Hopefully I can get some real hard big water runnin to post eventually. Kind of like JM's 41 saber he has totally killen some big water taken from a helicopter.

Mark 10-14-2008 12:57 PM

Smoooookin' Cig!

:evilb:

The video is killer, but I would have loved to hear those engines from start up to shut down. It's kind of like cranking up the stereo in a Ferrari.

That's because your 1075's are (at least)1075 at the prop. A lot of 1300's are lucky to see 1000 on an HONEST dyno:rolleyes::food-smiley-007:

I bet you saw "JAWS". A killer MTI w/ 1200's. He owns a bar on Kelley's.

LOL, morons. I've got money on you against any "1300hp" resin buckets.:ernaehrung004:

Whatever it was it wasn't throwing tails, through maybe it was AM II on cruise control. At any rate we were tired and didn't feel like running that way to see so we just took off.
