LOL, good point. Wasn't that APBA though? Jason Priestly ran the "Demolition Derby Series" once or twice I think....... I'm glad D Woods is still around to tell us about it.

I wasn't sure who ran SBI anymore besides Factory Fountain boats, and certainly wasn't aware there were still some "famous" guys turing laps. We all know you have to "start" with a hefty budget to compete!

It could be good if some "stars" or whatever, would take an interest in the sport. The "real" racers would whip their asses regularly, but it would definitely make headlines and possibly spark more publicity depending on how "big" the star(s).

I have seen that slogan on the SBI site for quite some time.

You might start out racing 'rich and famous' but after some time you find yourself 'broke and infamous'.

I do not know how I did it as long as I did. I love it, I miss it, but WOW what a way to make hard earned funds disappear, really really fast!
