Just thought I give the details of the new remodel job I'm doing in the basement.
1)instead of regular lights I bought sun lamps.
2)High performance boat pictures for the walls.
3)bolsters for seating.
4)rope for the chair rail.
5)No frig- using a cooler with a hatch. (mirror on underside)
6)I burn candles that smell like Nitromethane.
7) All girls must wear bikini's when entering.
8)Instead of soap in the bathroom I have sun tan lotion.
9)A Porta potti.
10) No carpet, I brought in 10 yds of beach sand!

Went with the boss this morning to Olathe, KS to look at a jet he's thinking about buying. It was 52 degrees in Chicago when we left. We returned to Chicago at 4:00 this afternoon to sustained winds of 35 knots with gusts in the 50's, temps in the low 20's, moderate to severe turbulence and windshear. It was not a fun landing. Another jet nearly lost it on takeoff right before we landed, aborted the takeoff and returned to his hangar, probably to change his underwear.
On a very sad note- the wind was so high downtown Chicago this afternoon that a scaffold broke loose from the Hancock Building and fell to the street below, crushing three cars. Three people perished in the accident. The entire area around the building was closed down shortly thereafter.

Go to the bottom of that new page and look for the Avatar option under "other options"
There is a few to choose from or you can upload your own if you make you picture small enough (64x64)

Crazyhorse- I'm a recreational flyer only too- but when the boss says we're going.......
I don't fly the Falcon- we have trained crew for that who spend plenty of time in the sim. They were really put to the test yesterday! Glad I was just a passenger. The Falcon is about the only aircraft I'd feel safe in yesterday!
BTW- How's the knee?
