Very sorry to hear about the lose of your Dad. From what you have said about your Dad he was a wonderful father, husband and role model for you. Grieving is always hard and you will always think about all the good times and all the little things that you shared in life together with your dad and mother, it will help and heal the pain of his lose. Condolences on your lose and prayers for your mom. Your Dad will RIP knowing that he had accomplished his goal in life, to be a loving husband , father and role model.

Croozin' my thoughts and prayers are with you and your wife. My situation was similar to your's when my dad passed away very suddenly on Dec. 27 last year. I am an only child as well, with a large age difference between my parents and I. I still miss my Dad every day and struggle with coming to terms.
