It is amazing. It has also caused a lot of problems with clearance. I have had to cut quite a few places in the stringers to get the engine in. What's crazy is that the engines will fit under the hatch without a scoop. I'm not sure what the reasoning was to put them so low. It had scoops on it from day one. They also have the engines lower in the front then in the rear. They are running downhill. I'm not sure of the reasoning behind that either. Must be some top secret double naught 7 Skater stuff that I'm not privy to.

Driveshaft angle more than likely.

The front motor is not lower than the rear motor. They are at the same height. The front of each engine is lower than the rear. They look like a 60's musclecar with leaf spring shackles.

Arrow

Is the motor height difference from front to back due to driveshaft angle and as a result when sitting idle in water or underway, the engine will theoretically be more level??

Ive never heard of anybody pulling one down below 2500-3000,especially a blower motor,I don't think it will ever see that kind of load in a boat.
